Our jury is independent. Members of the jury are in no way related to the submitted cases, attending organisations or individuals and they will have no interest in the outcome of the contest.
For us it is really important to be an award with an independent jury. Everything else would not be a fair contest.
Adrian Zimmermann is an IT Entrepreneur since 1999. For 20 years now he is strongly committed to OS-Software and -Projects personally and with his company (snowflake.ch). Adrian is active in several bodies; ch-open.ch, parldigi.ch Partner, TYPO3 Association Co-Founder and some TYPO3 committees.
Dr. Anton Bolfing is an independent ICT Accessibility expert and consultant at e-accessibility.ch. A trained psychologist, he is passionate about digital inclusion and inclusive education at all levels.
Torben Stephan is head of program "Digitalization and Society" at Stiftung Mercator Schweiz. The 43-year-old is part of the FOSSASIA organizational team and actively involved in CH/Open, DINAcon and the Open Source Business Alliance (Germany).
Mag. Ulrike Strommer is working as Requirements Engineer and Quality Engineer at Catalysts. She is very experienced in bridging gaps between business, design and development and strongly beliefs in the power of UX. Ulrike is vice-chairman of Drupal Austria and co-founder of “Open Minds – the Austrian Open Source Award”.
